The Candida Diet

Foods to be avoided:

Sugar

Candida yeast feeds on refined sugar products most conveniently. e.g.: sweets, Junk food and processed foods eg bakery products like bread, cake, cookies, cereals , Canned juices and food.

Bleached Flower

It is another processed food that can be broken down into sugar which is nutrition for your Candida bacteria.

Yeast products

Eating products that contain yeast make Candida albicans infections severe. A lot of food items that we eat contain yeast like bread, cake, Vinegar, sauces – tomatoes mustard and chili etc

Food Products that cause Discomfort/Allergy:

Tap water

Tap water contains chlorine sufficient to damage the natural environment of your gut, if not destroy it completely. This can lead to yeast infection. Use filters if you are to drink tap water, boil the tap water or consume bottled water

Lactose Intolerance

Lactose is simply a sugar found in milk. Lactose intolerance means that the digestive system of an individual is not able to break down the sugar – LACTOSE found in milk. This inability results from a shortage of the enzyme lactase, which is produced by the cells that line the small intestine. Hence, it is called Lactase Deficiency. This condition will lead to the growth of unfriendly bacteria Candida

Commercial Meat, Poultry and Eggs

We should Purchase organic products or live stock raised naturally. They are a little expensive, but the health benefits they procure are worth it. Commercial grade meat and poultry is raised in very unhygienic conditions and through an artificial process. The farmers feed the live stock many antibiotics that make animals prone to disease. Certain quantity of these antibiotics are eliminated by the time this meat reaches the meat shop the amount left is enough to induce the growth Candida yeast bacteria
